Walad (baby boy)

A looping video installation that opened on December 5th, 2025 in Ithaca College’s Park Photo Gallery. I can be contacted for the full 32 minute film.

Combining my father’s home videos of a family trip home to Syria with archival 13th century Syrian tile-work, this project sought to both interrogate and celebrate a Syrian-American identity.

Created as my thesis project for my Cinema and Photography major at Ithaca College.
